Kaisha island is located in WuJie Town, Tongzhou District, adjacent to the main channel of the Yangtze River in the South and across the river from Zhangjiagang; It is 40km away from Tongzhou City in the East, 10km away from Nantong City and 25km away from Nantong airport; It is 6km away from Ningtong Expressway in the north and close to the high-grade highway along the river. It has a unique geographical location and convenient transportation. The whole island is composed of Kaisha, Lisha, Dongsha and hongbeisha. It is the first island in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River upstream.
There is an administrative village on the island, covering an area of 3.56 square kilometers and a population of 1504. It is simple and livable. The main building is a micro style, with tortuous eaves and stone paths, carved fences and jade pavilions, and flowing water, light and flowers. China table tennis TongZhou training base and table tennis training school integrate table tennis training, scientific research, teaching and foreign cooperation and exchange. Jiangxin temple on the island is the first Jiangkou temple on the estuary of the Yangtze River, covering an area of 40 mu. It is donated for Buddhist believers from all walks of life. As a training base directly under the State General Administration of sports, Tongzhou training base of Chinese table tennis has complete functions, complete supporting facilities, beautiful environment, advanced management and first-class service.
