China table tennis TongZhou training base is jointly invested and built by the table tennis and badminton center of the State General Administration of sports, the people's Government of Jiangsu Province and the people's Government of Tongzhou District. It is the only international first-class table tennis training base with many functions directly under the management of the table tennis and Badminton Center, such as closed training of national table tennis teams, table tennis scientific research, reserve talent training, undertaking domestic and foreign events and so on.
The base covers an area of 180000 square meters. The construction area of the main training base is 23000 square meters, including the main and auxiliary training hall, corridor, Guoqiu Hotel, etc. The base has advanced and practical facilities and first-class quality. It integrates modern, information and intelligent functions. It also has building equipment monitoring, office automation and communication network system. It has also built a 106 berth national ball Welcome Hotel to provide a safe, efficient, energy-saving, comfortable and convenient training and living environment for table tennis athletes.
Since its completion in 2008, it has undertaken the intensive training of the national table tennis team and the European Union Table Tennis Federation for many times, and successfully hosted the "through Moscow - China Women's table tennis trial", the National Excellent Youth trial and other important events.
